David Alan Rios, age 41, of Lawrenceburg, was arrested on Friday, October 11th on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent, driving while in possession of meth, possession of schedule II Hydrocodone, and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to the report filed by Deputy Tyler McKenzie, he was patrolling on October 10th when a 2003 GMC Sonoma went past and then pulled over onto the shoulder of the road before the deputy turned on his blue lights. When Deputy McKenzie made contact with Rios, the driver, he asked if there were any illegal drugs in the vehicle and Rios allegedly said “yes.” A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed approximately 23.4 grams of methamphetamine, 21 Hydrocodone pills, small plastic bags, and digital scales. A meth pipe was allegedly found in Rios’ pocket. Rios was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $90,000.00 bond.
