The Wayne County Museum, located on the square in Waynesboro, is planning a special event on Saturday, December 7th, to coincide with the Waynesboro Rotary Christmas Parade.

As we know from history, December 7th is Pearl Harbor Day, the “day that will live in infamy.” The Wayne County Museum will be open from 5-7 p.m. on that day, and will have a patriotic exhibit on display with vintage uniforms from WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. The actual uniforms that will be on display were worn by Wayne County citizens that left home to go serve their county, and thankfully returned home again.

Everyone is invited to stop by the museum either before, during, or after the Waynesboro Christmas Parade on December 7th. Hot chocolate and cider will be provided.
