In the past few weeks, we here at the Wayne County News have been making preparations to move our operations to a newly remodeled office located at 530 Hwy. 64 East, Suite 3 in Waynesboro. General Manager Chris Bevis stated, “It is nice to walk into an office that has new flooring, fresh paint on the walls and two bathrooms, and we appreciate our owners and CEO Daniel Richardson for giving us this opportunity. We realize The News has a very rich history spanning several generations until the family business was sold some 15 years ago. Our first owners, American Hometown Publishing had ownership of our operation for several years. A couple of years ago that ownership was sold to Magic Valley Publishing, which is headquartered in Camden, TN. MVP is owned by the Richardson family who has many years experience in the paper business, and I feel being from middle Tennessee they have the ability to see and understand the needs of our communities and provide their employees with the tools needed to produce the best product possible. We would like to invite our customers and clients we serve to stop by and visit us at our new location. It is something we are very proud of and I believe you will too.”
