“Oceans of Possibilities” is the 2022 Tennessee Summer Reading theme. The Wayne County Public Library System began offering an independent reading program for all school age children on June 1 and will continue the program through June 30. Children are encouraged to visit their local library and check out books. Tickets will be given for each book checked out and read.

One ticket will be given for all Easy books, and five tickets for Juvenile Chapter books and Juvenile Non-fiction. At the end of June, children can bring in their tickets and redeem them for prizes.

Summer reader Iva Lauren Bryan was the first brave reader to have her picture made. All children are welcome to come and have their picture taken with our shark, if they dare!

Contact your local library if you have any questions. Wayne County Library 931-722-5537, Collinwood Depot Branch Library 931-724-2498, and Clifton Branch Library 931-676-3678.
