This ominous-looking shelf cloud was spotted hovering over Waynesboro last Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. It ushered in a brief period of heavy rain and wind, which fortunately didn’t last too long. The cloud was breathtaking to look at, but in a good way – not like the breathtaking funnel clouds that we have seen in our county far too many times!
