A residential fire on Mindy Drive in Waynesboro in the Mink Branch community on Sunday night sadly destroyed the home owned by Mrs. Judy Griggs. Although Mrs. Griggs was not living in the home at the time, the house and all of its contents were reportedly destroyed by the smoke and flames.
Firefighters were called back out to the home on Monday morning after the fire reportedly rekindled, but were able to extinguish it once again. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
