Hauling and Disposal of Municipal Solid Waste
Wayne County is requesting proposals on the following; Disposal, Hauling, and disposal and hauling combined of Municipal Solid Waste from The Wayne County Solid Waste Facility located at 412 Hog Creek Rd Waynesboro, TN to all of the following landfills:
Morris Farm Landfill-4 County Rd 418, Hillsboro, AL 35643
Cedar Ridge Landfill-2340 Mooresville Hwy, Lewisburg, TN 37091
Waste Connections of Mississippi-2941 County Rd 302, Walnut, MS 38683
West Camden Landfill-2410 US-70, Camden, TN 38320
Wayne County will receive sealed proposals until 12:00 noon CST on November 30, 2020, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM CST. Any proposals received after said time and date will not be opened and shall be considered void and unacceptable. All proposals must be sealed in envelopes and addressed to Wayne County Executive, 100 Court Circle, Suite 300 Waynesboro, TN 38485. The envelopes containing the Proposals must be sealed and addressed to Wayne County Executive, 100 Court Circle, Suite 300, Waynesboro, Tennessee, 38485 and plainly marked “Transportation and Disposal from Wayne County Transfer Station to Landfill Disposal.” Proposers must submit two (2) copies of the proposal.
A copy of the Request for Proposals may be obtained by email from the Solid Waste Director at [email protected] or in person at Wayne County Executive Office, 100 Court Circle, Suite 300, Waynesboro, TN 38485.
Proposals must be made on the Proposal Forms and per the Instructions to Proposers and the General Specifications furnished by Wayne County in this Request for Proposals.
Proposals received after the opening time will be returned unopened.
Wayne County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
