Students in Wayne County will be returning to the classroom on their first full day of school, Wednesday, August 9th. Below are important registration dates and information.
- Wayne County High School – Registration will begin in the WCHS gym on Thursday, August 3rd at the time listed. Please do not arrive more than ten minutes early. All forms and fees will need to be paid before you leave. Freshmen will register at 4:00 p.m., Sophomores and Juniors at 5:00, and Seniors at 6:00. If schedule changes are needed, the dates to take care of that are Friday, August 4th, 9:00 – 2:00, Monday, August 7th, 10:00 – 3:00, and Tuesday, August 8th, 10:00 – 3:00. - Waynesboro Middle School – Registration will be Thursday, August 3rd from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Registration for returning students can be completed at waynesboromiddle.com.
- Waynesboro Elementary School – Registration & Back-to-School Night will be Thursday, August 3rd from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Everyone will meet in the gym. You will meet the teachers and pay rotation & communication fees of $15.00.
- Frank Hughes School – Registration & Back-to-School Night will be Thursday, August 3rd from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Freshman orientation will be at 5:00 in the library.
- Collinwood High School – Registration will be Thursday, August 3rd. One parent or guardian will need to come with the student to sign registration documents. Seniors will register at 3:00 p.m., Juniors at 4:00, Sophomores at 5:00, and Freshmen at 6:00.
- Collinwood Middle School – Registration information will run in next week’s paper.
- Collinwood Elementary School – Meet & Greet Night will be in the gym on Thursday, August 3rd from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. New student registrations will be on Friday, August 4th from 8:00 – 10:00. The website for registration is ces.waynetn.net.
