It’s time to register for the Butterfly 5K and Fun Run, which will be held at the Waynesboro City Park on Saturday, June 1, 2024, beginning at 8:00 a.m. The red registration forms will be appearing at businesses all over the county in the coming weeks. Pick one up, fill out the information, and mail it in so it reaches the Foundation by May 17. Be sure the age, date of birth, and sex are correct because of the awards. Check t-shirt size and type and indicate the 5K or the Fun Run, which is for age 12 and under. Anyone running in both races will need to fill out a separate form for each race because each requires a separate race bib number.
If you want a t-shirt but don’t want to run, check “sleeping in.” Shirts will be sent within two weeks after the Run.
You may also register online at butterfly5k.itsyourrace.com. Pre-registration, which guarantees your t-shirt size and type along with a race bag, ends on May 17. You may also register on the day of the race without a shirt or race bag guarantee.
