Attention all tractor pull participants and attendees – it’s time for the event in Collinwood that brings excitement and big crowds every year…the 15th Annual Pullin’ in the Wood truck & tractor pull is this weekend!
The roar of trucks and tractors will once again echo throughout the city of Collinwood as this big end-of-summer event comes to town. Hosted by the Collinwood Beautification Board, the event will once again be held over two nights, Friday, September 8th and Saturday, September 9th. The pull is being held at the same site as last year, the far end of Dixie Youth Park in Collinwood. The street address is 101 Bratton Drive for out-of-towners who may need to plug it into a GPS.
The antique pull is coming up first on Friday. Gates open at 5:00 p.m., when everyone can start enjoying the food, games, and craft booths that will be set up at the event. The pulling will begin at 7:00 p.m. Along with the antique tractor pull, there will also be a Tough Truck Tire Pull on Friday.
Saturday, September 9th will be the official Mid-South truck and tractor pull. Gates will open again at 5:00 p.m., with pulling to begin at 7:00. There will be lots of food, games, crafts, and more for everyone to enjoy along with the “pullin’!”
Be sure to get there early for parking, and MAKE SURE to bring your lawn chairs for seating.
