The Wayne County Board of Education will receive bids for the construction of WMS restroom additions at Waynesboro Middle School in Waynesboro, TN until 2:00 p.m. local time on Monday, July 13, 2020 at the Wayne County Board of Education offices. Bid documents must be received in a sealed envelope marked “WMS restroom additions” on the outside of the envelope. The contract documents, including plans and specifications, and any and all addenda will be on file at the Wayne County Board of Education Offices, 419 South Main Street, Waynesboro, TN 38485.
Copies of the documents may be obtained by depositing $25.00 with the Board of Education for each set. The deposit will be 100% refunded to the persons who return the plans, specifications, and other documents in good condition within 10 days after the bid opening. A certified check payable to the Wayne County Board of Education or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds and satisfactory insurance coverage.
A pre-bid conference with the Director of Schools will conducted when the bidder picks up the plans.
The Wayne County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities, and to rebid the project on a future date, if necessary.
