It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…particularly at the Wayne County Administrative Building (the courthouse on the square)!

The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is once again sponsoring the annual Festival of Trees. Local churches, organizations, and civic groups are invited to set up trees for the public to enjoy. The setup has already begun, and the beautifully decorated trees will soon be on display on all three floors of the courthouse.

Participants in the Festival of Trees are asked to please bring your own extension cords along with your creativity when decorating your tree. The trees are to be spaced at least five feet apart in order to be more individually visible and pleasing to the eye. Only LED lights will be allowed on the trees to keep from blowing fuses!

Anyone with questions about the Festival of Trees may call the Chamber of Commerce office at 931-722-3575.
