Setup began on Monday for the annual Festival of Trees at the Wayne County Courthouse. The annual display of beautifully decorated Christmas trees set up by local churches, businesses, and civic organizations signals the unofficial beginning of the holiday season every year! This year, trees will also be placed in the Commission room upstairs, now that more room is available. Call the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce as soon as possible to reserve your spot, 931-722-3575. The last day to put up a tree will be Wednesday, November 27th.

The Chamber is adding something new to the holiday festivities this year… a trophy for the “Best Decorated Business” for the Season. The competition will include all businesses in the Wayne County area, and judging will be on Sunday, December 1st. If you would like for your business to be included in the competition, let the Chamber know. Their little elves will be out searching also!

Let’s have fun and bring on the Holiday Season!
