The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be hosting their annual “Pray the School Year In” on Sunday, August 13 at 2:00 pm. The event will be in the Collinwood Middle School cafeteria. Pastor John Blackwell will be the speaker.
Everyone is invited to come and pray over the schools in our county, pray for our students, our teachers, our staff, our custodians, our bus drivers, our cafeteria workers, our leaders, and for anyone who is affiliated with the Wayne County School System.
Also, be sure to mark your calendars for FCA’s upcoming Fields of Faith. This event is hosted by the FCA Huddles of Wayne County. FCA students from Clifton, Collinwood, and Waynesboro will join together to host this incredible event. Please make plans to attend on Sunday, October 1, at 6:00 pm. The event will be at Pat Brewer Stadium in Collinwood. The Huddles of Wayne County will be performing skits and dramas, and guest speaker will be Isabella Morrow. There will be special singing from Miley White and Shawna & Shaina Calton, and Kade Shultz, the young man from Lawrence County who almost lost his legs from an automobile crash, will give his testimony.
Everyone is invited to come join local students for a night of worship at an event that is held annually across the nation. You will be sure to receive a blessing! In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors to the CHS Gym.
