The City of Waynesboro, the Downtown Waynesboro Committee, and none other than the Easter Bunny himself will be partnering together this weekend to host the annual Egg Hunt at the City Park in Waynesboro!

This new and modified event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 9 at 10:30 a.m. There will be three age groups eligible to hunt: 0-3 year olds, 4-6 year olds, and 7-10 year olds. Registration is required for the free event, and will begin at 10:00 a.m. Children participating are reminded to bring a small basket or bag in which to collect all their eggs. The Easter Bunny will be hopping around available for photos with your children.

The Downtown Waynesboro Committee is excited to partner with the City of Waynesboro to provide an event that gives families the opportunity to not only enjoy our town, but celebrate the Easter holiday season in a fun and safe environment. Our community has pivoted during the past couple of years to adapt to the changing times, and this event is another example of efforts to continue our mission. Everyone is invited to attend!—Submitted by Downtown Waynesboro Committee
