A one-vehicle motor vehicle accident on Friday morning, December 29th, has left a Collinwood man in critical condition.
According to THP Trooper Phillip Long, David Parham of Collinwood was traveling southbound on Collinwood Highway (Highway 13 South) in a Chevrolet Equinox on Friday morning at approximately 5:45 p.m. For reasons still unknown at this time, Parham’s vehicle left the roadway near Dale’s Market, struck a culvert, and overturned. Parham was transferred by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of serious injuries and was listed in critical condition as of press time on Monday.
The accident remains under investigation. No charges have been issued.
