Riley Petty, Xander Daniel, and Harrison Rich won “Lunker Awards” for catching the biggest bass of the Collinwood teams at each of the last three tournaments. Riley Petty, Pickwick 9/26; Xander Daniel, Kentucky Lake 10/23; and Harrison Rich, Pickwick 11/6.
Congratulations are also in order to Harrison Rich for winning best overall in the Cooper Ridge Baits Pitching, Flipping, and Skipping Competition. Patch Craig earned 2nd overall. In the high school group, Harrison also took 1st place, and Bensen Blalock took 2nd place. In the Jr. High group, Patch Craig earned 1st place, and Tate Linville 2nd. Anglers competed in two rounds of pitching, flipping and skipping at various targets. The top from the High School and Jr. High groups battled it out at the end. This is a great technique to master, as it will be very helpful come this spring!
