Miss Caitlyn McKenzie Shelton, the daughter of Ms. Cathryn Maghielse and Mr. Doug Shelton of Lawrenceburg, formerly Waynesboro, TN, has been nominated for her 2nd Emmy Award. Miss Shelton is a Social Media Producer for FOX 17 TV News in Nashville.
Miss Shelton graduated from Lawrence County High School Magna Cum Laude and attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville where she later became a United States Intern for U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander of TN. She then was nominated for her 1st Emmy at Knoxville’s WVLT TV News as an Associate Editor.
Shelton has had experience working with USA TODAY Newspaper and 48 News.
