The annual Veterans Day Ceremony, honoring Wayne County’s own beloved veterans, will be held at the Wayne County Veterans Park, located on Broadway Street in Collinwood, on Monday, November 11th at 1:00 p.m.
As in past Veterans Day celebrations, members of the American Legion Post 130 (Waynesboro) and Post 254 (Collinwood) will once again join together to present a program honoring our veterans.
Legion members are scheduled to speak at the event, including recognition of the veterans by their branches of service. When the ceremony closes, the American Legion Honor Guard will perform a 21-gun salute in honor of our veterans.
The public, and especially all veterans, are encouraged to attend this special ceremony to honor past and present members of the United States Armed Forces for their service to our great country.
