Members of the Waynesboro American Legion Post 130 and Collinwood American Legion Post 254 recently placed a new sign at Copeland Cemetery, which is located off Bear Creek Road near the Lutts community. The sign was handmade by members of the Sons of the American Legion.

Members of the Wayne County American Legion and Sons of the American Legion posts dedicate many hours of their time to honor cemeteries in our county where local veterans are laid to rest.

Those attending the sign dedication ceremony were (left to right) Johnny Ramirez, Harold Thompson, Dale Inman, Junior Wooten, Jerri Ann Wooten, Cleo Kilburn, Travis Pigg, Cindy Martin, Ray Pulley, and Ron Tripp.
