   November 1:  Winter Cattle Nutrition Meeting

   Join us November 1st at the Woodmen of the World Building from 5pm-7:30pm for dinner, networking, and to learn about winter cattle nutrition needs. We will have a vendor visit set up at 5pm.  Dinner and Educational talk begins at 6pm. Please call our office to register today at 931-722-3229 or e-mail [email protected].

   November 11: Regional 4H Livestock Judging

   The regional Livestock Judging competition is November 11th at Triple P Arena at 1:00pm. Youth who are competing must register through our office by November 5th. This event is open to current 4th through 12th graders. Please contact Megan Harris at [email protected] or 931-722-3229 to register.

   November 16th:  Direct Marketing & Food Labeling Workshop

   Organic. Natural. Non-GMO. Certified Black Angus. USDA Process Verified. Cage Free. Wild Caught.  The list of food labels is long… and what do they mean?! We will be joined by Megan Leffew with the Center for Profitable Agriculture to discuss direct marketing products from our farm and food labels! The workshop will begin at 6pm and will be held at the Wayne Co. Extension office. Please RSVP by November 12th to [email protected] or 931-722-3229.

   November 18th: Composting 101 (Home & Garden Series)

   What is composting? What can or can’t I compost? What does compost do for my garden? We will answer these questions & more at our workshop, plus send you home with a compost “starter kit.” Join us on November 18th to learn the basics of composting at home! We will meet here at the office at 6pm. If this day does not work for you, we will have another class in Lawrenceburg on November 19th.
