Priority registration for the Summer and Fall 2020 semesters begins April 6 for currently enrolled Columbia State Community College students. Registration for all admitted students begins April 8.

At this time, summer classes will be limited to online and live-streaming courses only. On- ground classes may be added to the summer schedule at a later date.

College officials continue to monitor the latest news and recommendations from public health officials regarding the coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. College officials anticipate Fall 2020 sections will be offered in the full array of delivery methods.

“We felt it was important to proceed with summer and fall registration as originally planned,” said Dr. Janet F. Smith, Columbia State president. “Presently, we are only scheduling online courses for the first summer session. However, our intent is to add additional on-ground courses later in the summer providing the virus is under control and it is deemed safe for our students to return to a classroom setting.”

The summer semester begins June 1, with a second summer term slated to begin July 6. The fall semester classes start August 24.

Currently enrolled students should visit www.ColumbiaState.edu/Summer-Fall20-Registration to learn more about summer and fall registration.

New and returning students who have not yet applied to Columbia State must submit an application by May 15 for the summer semester and by August 7 for the fall semester. A returning student is someone who has previously attended Columbia State, but is not currently enrolled.

Applications are being accepted online at www.ColumbiaState.edu/Apply.
