Wayne County High School’s 8th annual Bob Haggard “WILDCAT” Alumni Basketball Game is coming up on Sunday, November 13. The girls’ game will tip off at 2 pm, followed by the boys’ game. Proceeds from the event benefit the Bob Haggard Character and Service Scholarship for a WCHS senior. WCHS Interact will be funding four scholarships next year, so attendance and participation in this event is crucial to its success.
This event is sponsored by the WCHS Interact Club, a student leadership organization that Bob helped found. The scholarship is worth a total of $5,000, divided in equal payments for four years. WCHS alumni who play in the game will receive a free t-shirt donated by TGR Printing. Business sponsorships are available for the t-shirts and programs. Admission will be charged for players and fans.
