Thomas Wayne Davis, Sr.

Mr. Thomas Wayne Davis, Sr. was born on August 25, 1949 to his parents, the late Mr. Cladis Brown Davis and Mrs. Adrilla Leona Holt Davis. He was a native of Wayne County TN and lived in the Waynesboro area. Mr. Davis, being a hard worker, drove semi-trucks for over 50 years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed a quiet life, drinking coffee at home and watching westerns. However, nothing compared to the time he spent with his family and friends. Mr. Thomas Wayne Davis, Sr. passed from this life on June 1, 2025, making his stay on this earth some 75 years, 9 months and seven days.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Christopher Fredrick Davis of Park City, KY and Thomas Wayne Davis, Jr. of Biloxi, MS; sister, Brenda Sue D. Hebert of Conway, AR; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; niece, Linda Sue Stutts of Paducah, KY; several nieces and nephews; and many other friends and loved ones.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Linda Lou Davis, Sally Ann Tamez and Leo Brown Davis.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC chapel in Waynesboro, TN at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow immediately after chapel services in the Worley Cemetery.

Visitation with the Davis family was on June 3, 2025, from 10:00 am till 1:00 pm service time at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC chapel.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Charles Tatum, Austin Gambrell, Jackie Garrett, Michael Love, Damien Staggs, Bubby Jay, and Andrew Reynolds.
