Thomas Harry (Tom Cat) Mitchell, Jr.

Posted

Mr. Thomas Harry (Tom Cat) Mitchell, Jr. was born in Florence, Al. on May 22, 1962, to his parents, the late Mr. Thomas Harry Mitchell, Sr. and Mrs. Barbara D. Pigg Mitchell. He was raised in the Wayne County area and always possessed an affinity for repairing automobiles, especially hot rod and vintage cars. His occupational years were spent working with lumber in the sawmill industry as a lumber grader until his health could no longer support his strong work ethic. He could be considered a simple man, enjoying the little pleasures in life. Spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren, listening to music, and just loving life, would describe the character of a man’s life lived simply but lived well.
