The beautiful river city of Clifton, Tennessee, is the perfect place to celebrate Christmas. The lights decorating Main Street and its historic buildings make the city look like something straight out of a Hallmark movie.
Even better than a Hallmark movie is the annual Stroll Through Christmas Past, sponsored by the Clifton Rotary Club, on Saturday, December 13th. Main Street will be transformed into more than a Hallmark movie – think of something from a Dickens novel. Hot food, sweet treats, Christmas carolers, dancers, and a kids’ craft area are just some of the things you may enjoy for free at the Stroll. And of course, the jolly old man himself, Santa Claus, will be on hand to find out who’s been naughty and who’s been nice!
The event will begin at 5:30, with the Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:00. A Candlelight Service will draw the evening to a close at 7:00 p.m. at 304 W. Pillow Street.
Everyone is invited to come to Clifton and be a part of this annual event, a Stroll Through Christmas Past that only the authentically historic city of Clifton can present.
