Saturday Market on the Square Returns May 10th

After last year’s successful inaugural season, Saturday Market on the Square will be returning this growing season.

The market was started in 2024 by local farmers in the community who saw the need for bridging the gap between local gardeners/producers and families wanting local and clean food options.

The market will be held on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from May through September, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., on the Waynesboro square. Fresh vegetables and fruits, canned items, and fresh baked goods are just a few of the items you’ll find at the market.

There is still space at the market for new local vendors. Keeping it local provides a way for residents to get to know their local farmers and producers. Those interested in becoming vendors may reach out on the Saturday Market on the Square Facebook page, or email jlwelch2005@yahoo.com.
