BID NOTICE

The Wayne County Highway Department is now accepting bids for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 (effective July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026 **unless otherwise noted). Our annual bids include- Asphalt (hot mix), pavement markings, emulsion, culverts, rock, tires, oil and lubricants, blades and teeth, cold patch, and bridge timber. Specs on these can be found in our bid packets. Bid packets are available for pickup at the Highway Department at 315 Hog Creek Road, Waynesboro. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Wayne County Highway Department on June 25, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. The awarding of the Fiscal Year Bids will be no later than July 1, 2025. All bidding vendors will be notified upon the awarding of the bids.

All bids must be SEALED and MARKED – “2025-2026 FISCAL YEAR BID.” All bids submitted must be signed and dated by the submitting vendor’s representative. Bids may be mailed to the Wayne County Highway Department, P.O. Box 472, Waynesboro, TN. 38485 or delivered to the Highway Department office at 315 Hog Creek Road, Waynesboro, TN, by the above-mentioned date and time.

NOTICE OF SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE'S SALE

STATE OF TENNESSEE, LAWRENCE COUNTY

THIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO COLLECT A DEBT, AND ANY INFORMATION GATHERED IN CONNECTION HEREWITH WILL BE UTILIZED FOR THAT PURPOSE.

WHEREAS, default has occurred in the performance of the covenants, terms and conditions of a Deed of Trust Note dated September 27, 2022, and the Deed of Trust of even date, securing said Deed of Trust Note recorded on September 28, 2022 in Record Book 692, at Page 207 as Instrument No. 22006619, in the Register's office of Lawrence County, Tennessee, executed by Charles Slack and Lisa Slack, conveying certain property described therein to Frank Alvstad, as Trustee, for the benefit of Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. ("MERS") solely as nominee for The Federal Savings Bank its successor and assigns (the “Holder”) and to Mickel Law Firm, P.A., having been appointed as Substitute Trustee by instrument of record in the Register's office for Lawrence County, Tennessee.

This being the same property conveyed to Charles Slack and wife, Lisa Slack by Warranty Deed from James A. Adams and wife, Teresa K. Adams of record in Record Book 692, Page 205, Register`s Office of Lawrence County, Tennessee.

The sale of the property described above shall be subject to all matters shown on any recorded plat; any and all liens against said property for unpaid property taxes; any restrictive covenants, easements or set-back lines that may be applicable; any prior liens or encumbrances as well as any priority created by a fixture filing; a deed of trust; and any matter than an accurate survey of the premises might disclose; and

All right and equity of redemption, statutory or otherwise, homestead, and dower are expressly waived in said Deed of Trust, and the title is believed to be good, but the undersigned will sell and convey only as Substitute Trustee.
