Posted

Mrs. Jerry Lou Brewer Moore was born in Clifton, TN to her father, the late Mr. Charlie Brewer, and mother, the late Mrs. Bertha Throgmorton Brewer, on February 17, 1941. Mrs. Moore spent her formative childhood years in the Clifton area enjoying all of the beautiful nature God had created with which she would grow to love more fondly throughout her life. As a young adult she would meet the love of her life, Mr. William Rex Moore, whom she would wed and the two would remain married until his passing on June 15, 2017. Mrs. Moore spent her occupational years as a factory laborer, working for Mallory Manufacturing and Lincoln Brass Works as well as her domestic duties in which she was diligent and passionate. In her leisure time, she loved any activity that led her outdoors. She was a vigilant gardener, growing both beautiful flowers and hardy vegetables, and well known for her delicious fried potatoes. Still, nothing compared to the time she spent with her family, especially in the summer, taking her grandchildren to the Blue Hole and springs on her property splashing in the water, swimming, and making memories. Mrs. Jerry Lou Brewer Moore passed from this life at her home in Waynesboro, TN surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, making her stay on this earth some 84 years, 2 months and 1 day.
