Jennifer Rae Franks Keeton of Lutts, TN was born September 5, 1973, in Florence, AL to Jimmy Ray Franks and Nancy Katherine “Kathy” Warrington Franks. She attended schools at Pinhook Elementary, Collinwood High School, Martin Methodist College, and the University of North Alabama, where she obtained her degree in graphic design. She worked at Sara Lee in Florence until it closed and she was blessed to find a job as secretary at Wayne County High School.
Jennifer gave her life to Jesus, was baptized, and a member of Lutts Methodist Church, now known as Lutts Community Church, where she taught children’s church and children’s Bible class. She loved all of her Church family, and her Church kids held a special place in her heart.
On May 17, 1997, Jennifer married James David Keeton, son of Arlie and Pauline Keeton. The two had two children, Jesse James Keeton in 2003 and Jonah Ray Keeton in 2006. She saw both of them graduate from Wayne County High School and was so proud of them.
Jennifer left this walk of life for her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
Survivors include her husband, James Keeton; sons, Jesse and Jonah Keeton; parents, Jimmy and Kathy Franks; brother, Jody Franks; uncle, Ken Warrington (Sherry); aunts, Jeanie Brewer, Pam Warrington; mother-in-law, Pauline Keeton; brothers-in-law, Paul Keeton (Peggy), Bob Keeton (Pam), Arlan Keeton (Patricia), John Keeton, and Arlie Keeton, Jr; sister-in-law, Arliene Keeton Collins.
Mrs. Jennifer is preceded in death by her grandparents, Max and Viva Warrington, Bill and Myrtle Franks; her father-in-law, Arlie Keeton; uncles, Joe Warrington, Everett Franks (Arlene), Joel Franks, Jerry Franks; and one aunt, Evelyn Luther.
Funeral services began at 2:00 PM at Lutts Community Church with Herman Glen Franks and Greg Stults officiating. Interment followed in the Lutts Cemetery.
In her memory, all flowers, gifts, and memorial donations given to the Lutts Community Church are greatly appreciated.
