The Collinwood Trojans faced a tough test Friday night, falling to McKenzie, 42-6, in Week 7 action on October 3. Collinwood quarterback Luke Holt completed 10 of 17 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown while also rushing nine times for 12 yards. Holt threw two interceptions in the contest. Gentry Hart led the Trojans in receiving, pulling in six passes for 71 yards and a touchdown. He also carried the ball 11 times for seven yards. Ryan Karcher added 51 yards on 10 rushing attempts and caught one pass for minus-2 yards. Aiden Daniel recorded two receptions for 32 yards and carried the ball once for minus-1 yard. Wesson Bromley had one reception for four yards. River Ray recorded one rushing attempt for no gain, while Bryant Hill carried twice for no yards. Defensively, Daniel Hensley led the Trojans with two tackles. Bryant Hill, Gentry Hart, River Ray, Cole M. Davis, Wesson Bromley and Aiden Daniel each recorded one tackle. Hill also broke up a pass. On special teams, Hunter Montgomery was 0-for-1 on extra-point attempts. The Trojans will look to regroup and get back in the win column as the season continues.
