Willie Edward “Bill” Hollander

   Willie Edward (Bill) Hollander, Lutts, Tennessee, formerly of Collinwood, Tennessee, was born July 7, 1930 in Florence, Alabama to the late Joseph Frank and Lizzie Ree Burkes Hollander. He married Betty Evelene Holt, November 11, 1950. She preceded him in death, April 24, 2016. Mr. Hollander retired from Hassell and Hughes Lumber Company and was a member of Burns Chapel Freeewill Baptist Church, Iron City, Tennessee. He departed this life, Monday, October 14, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center, Florence, Alabama at the age of 89 Years, 3 Months, 7 Days.

   Survivors, sons, Gregory Alan Hollander, wife, Renay and Stanley E. Hollander, wife, Shelia all of Lutts, TN; grandchildren, Nathan Hollander, wife, Alicia, Bethany Webb, husband, Jonathan, Lindsey Barrier, husband, Brennan, Heather Cantrell, husband, Keith and Hannah, Ashley, Samantha, Amber, and Bailey Hollander; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Allie, and Remington Hollander, Chelsea and Paityn Barrier, Sarah and Alyssa Webb, Trinity, Hayden, Christina, and Channing Hollander and Salenia, Sonya, and Javan Davis; brother, Gene Hollander, Detroit, MI; sister, Mable Maddox, Sheffield, AL; several nieces and nephews.

   Besides his wife and parents, Mr. Hollander was preceded in death by granddaughter, Aimee Hollander; brothers, Joe, Lawrence, Thomas, Aden, Howard, Albert, Louis Hollander; sister, Louise Wells.

   Services were Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Edward Burbank officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee. Pallbearers were Austin Cox, Jonathan Webb, Keith Cantrell, Nathan Hollander, Patrick Brewer, and Marty McGee.
