In the early morning hours of March 24, 2021, Mr. William Thaddeus (Budd) Bryant peacefully went to be with our Lord and Savior surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Bryant was born in Macon, Georgia on January 20, 1940 to the late Gaines F. and Clara Juanita (Bernard) Bryant. Along with his parents, Budd was preceded in death by five grandchildren known only to God. He made his career as a Forms Manager for Regions Bank before retiring to enjoy the outdoors and time spent with family. On January 20, 1973 he married his true soul mate, Ms. Coral Lee, and together raised two daughters.

Mr. Bryant was a member of Collinwood Baptist Church. Throughout his life he exemplified the call to be God’s hands and feet. He was always anticipating the needs of others around him whether it was family or a stranger. He lived up to his name, a resolute protector who was worthy of praise.

During his free time, Mr. Budd enjoyed woodworking, golf, being outdoors, and checking off the tasks on his honey-do list.

Along with his wife of 48 years, Mr. Bryant leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Marilyn Jeanette Bryant Gore (Gerald) and Melanie June Bryant Oswalt (Louis); a brother, Robert Farette Bryant (Betty); a special cousin who was like a brother, Thomas Julian Sapp (Melanie); and grandchildren Kathryne June Oswalt and Elizabeth Clara Oswalt.

A memorial service will be held Saturday April 10, 2021 at 12:00 at Collinwood Baptist Church in Collinwood, TN. The family will receive friends for visitation at 11:00 until time of service. Brother David Byrd will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in honor of Mr. Bryant to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Gideons International, or Samaritans Purse.

For those in attendance, the family requests that facial coverings be worn and to maintain the social distancing guidelines. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and consideration.
