Cathy Lacole Porter, age 30, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Monday, March 8th on charges of possession of schedule II methamphetamine with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a revoked/suspended license, and introduction of contraband into a penal facility. The report filed by Deputy Jaggar Thompson stated that he performed a traffic stop on the vehicle driven by Porter for no tags. Upon running Porter’s information through dispatch, Deputy Thompson discovered that her driver’s license was revoked. A search of Porter’s vehicle allegedly revealed a bag containing approximately 0.6 ounces of methamphetamine and five syringes. Porter was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $132,500.00 bond.
