Waynesboro Woman Arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine

   Jessica Leann Dixon, age 32, of Waynesboro was arrested on Wednesday, October 14th on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. Officer Jonathan Kelly of the Waynesboro Police Department filed a report stating that he received a call regarding a female who fell down in the road on Highway 64 West. Upon Officer Kelly’s arrival at the scene, he made contact with Dixon and asked if she was okay. Dixon allegedly began going through her handbag, saying that she was looking for her ID, and Officer Kelly asked for permission to search the bag. While searching Dixon’s bag, Officer Kelly allegedly recovered 0.7 grams of methamphetamine. Dixon was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $75,000.00 bond.
