With the outside temperatures rising, people are beginning to look for ways to cool off! The City of Waynesboro has been working diligently to get the pool ready for a Memorial Day opening. The pool will open its doors to the public for the 2021 summer swim season on Monday, May 31 and will remain open through Labor Day. It will be open seven days a week until August and will remain open on weekends only until Labor Day.
Regular pool hours are Monday through Saturday, 11am to 5pm and Sunday, noon to 5pm. A snack bar is also available serving drinks, candy, chips, ice cream, pizza, nachos, hotdogs and more.
Private party rentals are also available for birthdays, church groups, sport teams, family reunions, etc. All rentals include two Red Cross certified lifeguards, access to big pool, diving well, kiddy pool and access to 150ft and 20ft slides. Renters are welcome to bring food, drinks, cakes, plastic decorations, and other supplies.
