Waynesboro Man Arrested on Meth Charge

   Alex Winston Gray, age 31, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Thursday, September 17^th on charges of manufacture/delivery/sale/possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officer Jonathan Kelly of the Waynesboro Police Department filed a report stating that he performed a traffic stop on the vehicle in which Gray was a passenger for failure to maintain lane and unlawful brake lights. When the vehicle came to a stop, Gray allegedly jumped out of the front passenger side and threw a box into a nearby yard. When Officer Kelly recovered the box, it allegedly contained three plastic baggies of methamphetamine, two glass pipes, four syringes, and a small set of scales. Gray was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $100,000.00 bond.
