Waynesboro Man Arrested on Domestic Assault Charges

   Robert Elton Keasling, age 38, of Waynesboro was arrested on Monday, August 2nd on charges of simple domestic assault and aggravated domestic assault. Deputy Mai Kinney responded to a call of a possible domestic assault, and upon her arrival, was met by the alleged victim Michelle Keasling. Mrs. Keasling alleged that her husband, Robert Keasling, had assaulted her by grabbing her around the neck and choking her. Deputy Kinney reported that Mrs. Keasling allegedly had visible red marks on her neck. A minor who lives in the home also alleged that Keasling tried to push him up against the wall. Robert Keasling was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $52,500.00 bond.
