Waynesboro Man Arrested for Resisting Arrest, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

   Orin Sean Daniel, age 45, of Waynesboro was arrested on Monday, December 23rd on charges of resisting stop or arrest, evading arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear, and violation of probation. Deputy Spencer Ray filed a report stating that he was at a residence on Merriman Street in Waynesboro attempting to file an arrest warrant on Daniel for failure to appear on previous charges when Daniel allegedly jumped out of a window onto the roof of the residence in an attempt to run away. Deputy Ray was able to tackle Daniel to the ground, but Daniel allegedly resisted for several minutes until backup arrived. When Daniel was finally handcuffed and patted down, Deputy Ray located multiple syringes and a glass pipe commonly used for smoking meth. Daniel was booked into the Wayne County Jail with no bond.
