Waynesboro Man Arrested for Meth

James Blake Davis, age 54, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Thursday, March 2 on charges of possession of schedule II drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to appear. Officer Darren Pounders of the Waynesboro Police Department reported that Davis was observed operating a vehicle without wearing a seatbelt, so Officer Pounders performed a traffic stop. Dispatch informed Officer Pounders that Davis already had an active warrant for failure to appear on a previous charge. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed approximately 0.9 grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe containing meth residue. Davis was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail with no bond.
