Waynesboro Man Arrested for Meth Following Traffic Stop

   Orin Sean Daniel, age 46, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Friday, October 9th following a traffic stop. Chief Deputy Donnie Carroll filed a report stating that he performed a traffic stop on Daniel’s vehicle, in which Daniel was a passenger at the time. Captain Tim Beckham asked for and received consent to search the vehicle. When Daniel exited the vehicle, the officers allegedly observed a glass meth pipe sticking out of his pants pocket. After the discovery of the meth pipe, a further search of Daniel allegedly revealed a plastic baggie containing approximately 1.2 grams of methamphetamine in another pocket. Daniel was arrested on charges of possession of schedule II methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $80,000.00 bond.
