Waynesboro Man Arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault

   Gustavo Noel Norato, age 37, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Monday, March 22^nd on a charge of aggravated domestic assault. Waynesboro Police Officer Cody Jones filed a report stating that Alisha Creecy, a female who resided at Norato’s address, gave a statement alleging that she had been assaulted by Norato. Creecy alleged that Norato began a verbal argument with her, then began hitting her in the face. Creecy alleged that Norato then threw her down and dragged her across the floor by her hair, kicked her, and held a gun to her head which he believed to be loaded but actually was not. Based on Creecy’s statement, Norato was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $50,000.00 bond.
