Since 2002, Wayne County Bank has awarded a total of $890,000 in scholarship money to 135 students in Wayne & Lewis County. WCB is pleased to announce this year’s scholarship winners. Seven scholarships were granted again this year, with each scholarship worth a total of $8,000 over a four-year period. Collinwood High School winners are:
Adrianna Whitehead, daughter of Randall & Jennifer Whitehead. She plans to attend The University of North Alabama and Major in Nursing.
Zekiel Stults, the son of Bobby & Carol Stults. He plans to attend The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and Major in Marketing.
Frank Hughes High School winner is: Karlie Seltzer, the daughter of Tom & Tammie Seltzer. She plans to attend The University of North Alabama & Major in Psychology.
Wayne County High School winners are: Ethan Camfield, the son of Michael & Amanda Camfield. He plans to attend The University of North Alabama and Major in Physical Therapy.
Katelyn Swearengin, the daughter of William & Vicki Swearengin. She plans to attend Mississippi State University and Major in Animal Science.
Lewis County High School winners are: Lucas Roberson, the son of Josh Roberson & Koty Couch. He plans to attend Middle Tennessee State University and Major in Biology (Pre-Med).
Chloe Dye, the daughter of Allen & Rebecca Dye. She plans to attend Middle Tennessee State University and Major in Speech Pathology & Audiology.
