Mrs. Wanda Jane Riley Langford was born Tuesday, October 23, 1951 in Waynesboro, Tennessee to the union of the late Orville and Marie Cliff Riley. She was united in marriage to James Langford on Saturday, August 19, 1967. Mr. Langford preceded her in death on Friday, December 7, 2001. Mrs. Langford was a seamstress for the Angelica Company and a member of the Collinwood Church of God. Mrs. Langford departed this life at her home in Waynesboro, TN on Sunday, May 23, 2021 making her stay in this life some 69 Years and 7 Months.
She is survived by two sons, James Langford and wife, Jamie of Waynesboro, TN, Nicky Langford and wife, Cathy of Waynesboro, TN; a sister, Geneva Bennett and husband, Gene of Antioch, TN; a brother, Leroy Brown of Michigan; twelve grandchildren, Colton Langford and wife, Deja, Krishna Langford, Whitley Langford, Gabbreell Pulley, Lucas Stamps, Addison Langford, Riley Langford, Amber Hunt, Barrett Staggs, Emma Scott, Allison Staggs, McKenzie Staggs; thirteen great-grandchildren, Lilha, Bentley, Caden, Alley, Skylar, Asher, Remedy, Andrew, Hudson, Dillon, Chelsie, Braylee and Zaydin. In addition to her husband, James Langford and her parents, Mrs. Langford was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Langford Stamps Pulley and a sister, Charlotte Dixon.
Visitation with the Langford family will be held on Wednesday, May 26th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN. Per her wishes, after visitation, her body will be cremated with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family with arrangements.
