   Mr. Walter Hime was born October 5, 1930 in Clifton, Tennessee to the union of the late John Wesley and Nancy Leebener Riley Hime. Mr. Hime was a Tool and Dye Maker, a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Clifton, a loving Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather, and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Robbie Hime Davis, who preceded him in death. Mr. Hime departed this life on December 4, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee, making his stay in this life some 89 Years, 1 Month and 29 Days.

   He is survived by a daughter, Sherri Davis Linville of Clifton, TN; a son, Caldwell Davis, Jr. and wife Debra of Clifton, TN; a brother, David Fay Hime and wife Martha of Savannah, TN; a sister, Mary Ruth (Hime) Wright and husband Billy of Florence, AL; a sister-in-law, Vera Dale Hime of Clifton, TN; six grandchildren, Brad Barnhill and wife Jenni of Austin, TX, Clif Barnhill of Knoxville, TN, John Barnhill and wife Amber of Savannah, TN, Kris Davis and wife Heather of Clifton, TN, April Williams and husband Greg of Savannah, TN, Jessica Brannon and husband Paul of Spring Hill, TN; ten great-grandchildren, Caden, Levi, Mason, Lilly, Aiden, and Emma Barnhill, Jackson and Arabella Williams, Madison Inman, and Caitlyn Brannon.

   In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Hime was preceded in death by a brother, William Arnold Hime, and a sister, Rachel Hime Kelley.

   Services were held on December 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at First Pentecostal Church in Clifton, Tennessee, with Billy R. Wright, Ricky Mitchell, David Eliff, and William “Bill” Martin officiating. Burial followed in the Steele Cemetery in Clifton with full military honors.
