Vicki Stracener, 63, passed away on October 21, 2020. Vicki was a lifelong educator, a loving mother and Nonna, lover of nature, and an amazing cook. She was dedicated to her church family and loved to send cards to everyone for any occasion. She loved people. Vicki was relentlessly encouraging and compassionate to all.
She is preceded in death by her father, Earl Whitten; father-in-law, Sam Stracener; as well as special aunts and uncles.
Survivors are her husband, Jeff Stracener; daughter, Jenny (Losson) Buchanan; son, Joey (Jacque) Stracener; beloved granddaughter, Nora Phoenix; mother, Virginia Whitten; brother, Jerry Whitten; aunts, Geneva Ray and Katherine Brewer; mother-in-law, Inez Stracener; brother-in-law, Derek (Regina) Stracener; cats, Callie, EP and Lucky; nephews, Steven, Peyton, and Nolan Stracener; as well as several cousins.
The family received friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home in Soddy Daisy, TN. Services followed at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister Joel Danley presiding.
