Two Arrested on Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

   Dustyn Lee Hall, age 24, of Hohenwald, Tennessee and Chevy Lane Runions, age 38, of Ethridge, Tennessee were arrested on Thursday, March 5th following a traffic stop. Sgt. Bryant Burcham filed a report stating that he pulled over a 2009 Nissan Altima for a traffic violation, and K-9 Buddy alerted on the vehicle for drugs. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed approximately 57.9 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 18.6 grams of marijuana, and one Suboxone strip. Both Hall and Runions were arrested and charged with manufacture/delivery/sale/possession of methamphetamine and possession of schedule VI marijuana for resale. Upon arrival at the Wayne County Jail, Runions was additionally charged with introduction of contraband into a penal facility after a small cylinder containing approximately 1.3 grams of methamphetamine was recovered from one of his body cavities. Runions was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $150,000.00 bond. Hall was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $100,000.00 bond.
