Tuscumbia, AL Man Arrested for Cypress Inn Burglary

Dawson Lake Dean, age 22, of Tuscumbia, AL, was arrested on Friday, April 21 on charges of aggravated burglary and theft of property over $10,000. Captain Tim Beckham of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office filed a report stating that Dean allegedly entered a residence on Jackson Cemetery Road in Cypress Inn without the owner’s knowledge. Once inside the residence, Dean allegedly stole nine guns, jewelry, money and fishing equipment. Dean then allegedly went on to steal a Fisher aluminum boat and some power tools from the property. He was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $150,000.00 bond.
