Tennessee Highway Patrol Sgt. Michael Kilpatrick is being hailed as a hero after an incident that took place the day before Thanksgiving.
Sources reported that a young man who allegedly wanted to commit suicide was threatening to jump from 48 Creek Bridge on Highway 64 East in Wayne County. As seen in the photo above, deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office assisted Sgt. Kilpatrick in trying to talk the young man down from the bridge, but Sgt. Kilpatrick ultimately made the heroic decision to pull the man down from the side of the bridge before he could make the jump.
