Traffic Stop Gets More Meth Off the Streets

   On the evening of Wednesday, January 1, 2020, Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop in Collinwood. A search of the vehicle yielded nearly ½ oz. of methamphetamine, a digital scale, and other drug paraphernalia including a glass pipe and straws.

   Luis Manuel Medina, age 35, of Collinwood, was charged with Possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to manufacture, deliver, or sell, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

   Freda Rene Box, age 51, of Cypress Inn, was charged with Possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to manufacture, deliver, or sell, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Suspended, and Driving while in Possession of over 5 Grams of Methamphetamine.

   Both were booked into the Wayne County Jail.
